Submission Guidelines

Members of the international scientific and industrial communities are warmly invited to participate and contribute to the technical program which will feature plenary, keynote, invited and poster presentations.

Language:

Submissions must be in English.

Originality:

All submissions must be original and not previously published or under review elsewhere.

Submission Process:

Authors are required to submit their papers through the conference submission portal, following the provided guidelines.

Review Process:

All submissions will undergo a peer review process by experts in the field. Authors must anonymize their submissions to facilitate blind review.

Poster Presentation and Format:

Posters should be printed in A0 size and presented in portrait format. A clear structure is essential, including title, authors and affiliations, introduction, objectives, methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and acknowledgments. Effective design focuses on readability, with large fonts, concise text, and strong visual elements such as graphs and microscopy images, which are especially important in materials science. During the session (1 hour long), presenters should give a short 2–5-minute overview covering the research problem, approach, key results, and significance. Engaging with attendees is important, as discussions often involve technical details and applications. Posters are typically evaluated based on scientific quality, originality, clarity, and communication skills. Best poster presentation awards will be given to excellent presenters.

Publication:

Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, subject to presentation at the conference by at least one of the authors. Selected papers will be invited for publication on reputable journals or edited volumes following the conference, subject to further review.
